Additionally, the company offers data connectivity solutions; electro-mechanical engineering, construction, consulting, and related manpower services; e-transaction, rail-related operations and maintenance, e-business development, tellering, multi-media, financial, bill collection, energy management, and information systems and technology services; and non-life insurance and reinsurance products, as well as manages energy systems and electric distribution facilities, and develops power generation plants. It serves residential, commercial, and industrial customers. Manila Electric Company was founded in 1903 and is based in Pasig, the Philippines.
