Public Power Corporation S.A., together with its subsidiaries, generates, transmits, and distributes electricity in Greece. It generates electricity from lignite, natural gas, liquid fuel, wind, hydroelectric, and photovoltaic power plants. The company owns 62 power generating stations; transmits electricity through approximately 12,457 kilometers of high voltage system; and distributes electricity through 237,360 kilometers of medium and low voltage distribution network. It also owns approximately 2,189 kilometers of fiber optics network; and approximately 164 kilometers of urban fiber optics network. In addition, the company offers financing services.
